Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann(天元突破グレンラガン, Tengen Toppa Guren Ragan, literally. "Break-Through Heaven Gurren Lagann"[But I just call it "The Drilling Show" ])

Plot: The series takes place in the far future where humans now live and thrive underground in isolated villages. These "Villages" are in constant danger due to the on going earthquakes from above, because of this the villages must expand deeper and deeper into the earth, this is the job of the "Diggers". One of these diggers a fourteen year old orphaned boy named Simon finds a golden drill key and he and his self acclmained brother the cocky smart mouthed Kamina find a small Robot head, eventually they meet a girl named Yoko and go into battle with several other large Robot beast called "Ganman" as the travel the world.


History: A new animated series by Gainax co-produced by Konami and Aniplex. Brodcast on Japan's TV Tokyo network, It is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and has been in development since his participation in the Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi mecha themed episodes by the same studio.will run from April 1 - September 23rd 2007 with 23 episodes.


It's Gainax guys same people who did Evagalion, FLCL, and a few others. Beautiful animation, crazy humor GO WATCH IT!
